Greg Holmes

Project Lead: My role is to organize the project, to lead the fabrication and technical efforts, and to build the team who will design the sculpture, develop the software, organize logistics and all the other fun aspects of the endeavor.

I worked in software for 20 years as a leader of software product development teams (loved it!), then started a fabrication business and have built wood and metal furnishings for restaurants in SF for the past 10 years. I also build interactive LED sculptures in my spare time. I love design and fabrication and can organize people and time to deliver tangible outcomes.

Craig Rohrsen

Concept Design: 18 years at Coherent Lasers, R&D Laser power measurement I wrote software for production automation and built test fixtures for production. 10 years at TriContinent Scientific, Manufacturing Engineer- Motion control for fluidics. Software and hardware for production automation.

Janice Lin

My role is to advise on team cohesion and internal and external communications about the project. I am a serial entrepreneur who specializes in groundbreaking, impactful clean energy market transformation and am very comfortable working across and with diverse stakeholder groups.  I am passionate about creating community and love the inspiration and goals of this project.  I also believe that empowering and uplifting others to align with each other to realize not only common goals, but also each team members’ individual and collective potential is the key to rapid progress and change.  My favorite quote:  “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world. Steve McNerney

Designer: Electrical Engineer for just about forever. Education including Bachelors and Masters degrees. Design and manufacturing of all sorts of electronics, hardware, software, firmware  and algorithm development . Medical devices including Ultrasound . Team member resulting in the implementation of B-Scan and  Color Doppler Ultrasound. Designer of one of the first commercially available MRI instruments  . Drug discovery instrumentation, robotics,  optical design ( including the LED drivers for one  the  New Years Times Square ball) , group leader. My current gig is President of a small startup company  for design  and development of robotic  equipment   used in the Broadcast video/Live Presentation markets. Other endeavors include teaching at both  High-School  and University level  

Dani Pletter

Dani Pletter is a creator with a diverse set of skills, extending from software development to physical builds, art, and electronics. His main interest lies in crafting immersive environments that stimulate all senses, especially through thoughtful lighting and sound design. Dani's work often involves collaborative projects, where he contributes not only as a digital artist but also as a facilitator, encouraging creative expression in others. His open-minded approach, embracing learning and growth over the fear of failure, allows him to continuously evolve in his artistic and technical pursuits. Dani's creations, whether software or sensory spaces, reflect his dedication to the art of making and the joy and depth of collaborative innovation.

Zulu Heru

Zulu Heru is a multi-talented Artist hailing from Richmond, Virginia, currently residing in San Francisco, California. Zulu is an army veteran, engineer, crane operator, and innovative sculpture Artist known for his incredible ability to create stunning multimedia Afrocentric sculptures using discarded materials.

With a BFA in Fine Arts from Howard University and over a decade of welding and metal fabrication experience, Zulu is a master at turning discarded metals into thought-provoking art. Zulu has assisted and collaborated with some of today’s most innovative sculptors, unwavering in his artistic dreams and determined to inspire the next generation of artists to do the same, regardless of how big their ambitions may be.

Kathleen Hoffman

Kathleen Hoffman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California who has been practicing since 2014. She graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Counseling in 2007. Kathleen is multifaceted in her experience working with individuals (adolescents and adults from young to the senior years), couples, children, and families. She began her therapist journey in equine assisted therapy and then transitioned to a clinic setting.

Jen Randle

jen is a humanist—rooted in the belief that human beings are the starting point for any meaningful change. her work centers on the creation of spaces where people can find their way to their original best—inspiring individuals, teams, and organizations to envision bold futures and operate from a place of abundance.

she is also co-executive director of vertical village—a non-profit that amplifies sidelined voices through community and art. she also co-leads vertical camp, an artist support and theme camp.

most importantly, jen is a native californian who is happy to be back on the w(b)est coast—living with her pups, experiencing all the very best that coastal living has to offer.
