Metalworking Complete
With great joy, plenty of earned perspiration, and help from Craig and Daniel, I can now say that the Archeon's primary metalwork is complete. Whew!

Base Sculpting Complete
After what seemed like an eternity of cutting and shaping pink foam, I’m happy to say that the sculpture’s base has been formed and is now ready for fiberglass and finishing!
Trunk Progress
I'm happy to report that all the cutting and assembling of the lower trunk is complete. It's all ready for final, detail sculpting and fiberglass.
In Truss we Trust (*)
The Archeon sculpture is built around a large, steel truss. The truss supports the foam and fiberglass trunk as well as the large flower atop the structure.
Flower Buds…
We hosted our first guest artist, Jennifer Reed from Brooklyn, this weekend and she hammered out three beautiful flower buds in the workshop.

I am happy to announce that with the recent additions to our team, that we have a group capable of delivering The Archeon project at a really high level!
New Computer Models
Now that the final scale model is complete, we used photogrammetry to capture its form and bring it back into the computer for the next phase of construction, which is modeling the form at full scale and cutting shapes on the cnc router.
